HIRE APPLICATIONS: You can use interaction at any gathering to communicate with your audience and find out how they feel or think.
In the classroom, these interactive systems mean higher grades, better-educated students and lower drop-out rates.
In corporate meeting rooms, they lead to more effective meetings, better-trained and motivated staff and improved financial performance.
Opinion polls become more accurate: elections and referendums become faster and easier; continuing education and training becomes more effective.

The systems can be used in a number of different ways to achieve various outcomes. These examples above are to name but a few!
Data collation
Use the system at a conference (for example) by providing interactive handsets for presenters to use during their sessions. Presenters can ask their audience questions relative to their topic, and gain an understanding of opinions or levels of awareness and understanding about their topic.
Demographics
Go one step further than just asking your audience topical questions by including a demographic category to tell you not only what your audience is thinking, but where they originate within your industry or demographic classification.
This type of information is available at the click of a button once your presentation is formatted. |
CASE STUDY
Present a situation to your audience, support this with a panel discussion or discussion then ask a question such as “What would you do next…?” Once the results are displayed, it could be used as a basis for further discussions or Q&A sessions with your audience.
Product Launch
Start by asking a question such as “From the following list, which product would you use?” Once results are displayed, hold a panel discussion or discussion on the new product and it’s applications. Ask the same question again, and compare the ‘before and after’ results to see if audience opinion has shifted.
This is a particularly powerful tool when combined with a demographic question. For example: |
You have a new drug available that is aimed toward GP’s. Your audience is made up of a range of medical professionals including pharmacists, GP’s, surgeons and medical support staff.
You now know that your ‘Before & After’ comparison has shifted in favour of your new drug. But what you really need to know is whether the shift has come from the GP’s that you are targeting?
If yes … mission accomplished! If no … why?
For companies offering new products it is critical that their target market is reached. Why leave that to chance by hoping that your target audience has understood what you have told them about your new products … find out! Use interactive PowerPoint to do that for you.
If you find that you haven’t reached your target market to the extent that you expected, you WILL KNOW and will be able to address those issues!
Exhibit/Tradeshow
In this environment, the interactive handsets can be used in a number of ways to draw people to your stand. Use it as a tool to collect information from the people that come to your stand. For example, you could ask some demographic questions.
Use it to draw people to your stand by running a small quiz every few minutes and giving away some prizes. This will always attract people. You can use a lighthearted format, with only 4 or 5 questions per session to give people time to stop at your stand, play your quiz, then talk with you after about YOUR products/services. |
Evaluation Tool
Use the system at a conference (for example) to ask your evaluation questions. We are all too familiar with the printed version of these forms, we also know that even the simplest requirements such as a tick or a cross are more often than not, still too much to ask from your delegates.
So why not incorporate it into your conference?
Rather than have an evaluation form in a satchel, use the interactive handsets instead.
The benefits are enormous. The volume and quality of information improves instantaneously. The results are available immediately, there is no need to spend lots of man hours interpreting and collating feedback forms.
Break it up into small sections that can be asked throughout the conference, or have it all done in the last session! The choice is yours to make!
Reports
Post event reports are invaluable. They will tell you who was in your audience (demographic), what they thought about your presentations (topical questions) and whether or not they saw value in your event overall (evaluation questions).
Reports are available in a number of different formats such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel even HTML. They are produced immediately after the event has concluded and are provided in both hard and soft copy format for review, distribution and evaluation.
They contain critical information for conference organisers and committee members to let them know what their delegates liked and disliked and prove themselves as a great tool for future planning and strategies. Not to mention comparison with other events.
Quizzes
Add some spice ... Use the interactive handsets to refresh your audience during a conference by holding a series of ‘spot quizzes’ throughout the program. They are fun, fast, and just what your delegates need to break up the routine of a full conference program.
The quizzes have proven to be a very popular choice for our clients. We have used them for conferences, dinners, AGM’s, sales meetings and training sessions.
