eBeam Board

In contrast to the complete portability of the eBeam Pod, we also believe their are applications for fixed IWBs, such as meeting rooms, library rooms or rooms where are an IWB will be used consistently. The eBeam Board caters to these applications, through the utilisation of both the eBeam Pod receiver and the Pod's innovative software suite. Through the standardisation of software the total time for training is decreased and allows the user to gain confidence at creating and driving their interactive content quicker.

Advantages of eBeam Board

The eBeam Board has several advantages over many of the traditional IWBs. Many IWBs currently on the market rely on pressure sensors to calculate the co-ordinates of the pen strokes when relaying that information back to the PC. For the pressure sensors to function the material used for the writing surface is often very absorbant and difficult to clean - this has even been seen to the extent in some cases that writing on an IWB with normal marker pens has been banned! The eBeam Board uses a normal whiteboard surface, with no delicate material or intricate pressure sensing systems through the use of the eBeam Pod receiver.
